The Yangtze River is China’s longest river and the third longest waterway in the world. There are more than 70 passenger ships cruising
between Chongqing and Yicahng, Wuhan or Shanghai both upstream and downstream. Their outstanding hotel and cruise management
expertise give travelers a wonderful vacation option on the Yangtze River.
The Three Gorges, Qutang, Wu and Xiling Gorge, the most spectacular section of the Yangtze River, are filled with breathtaking sceneries.
Beginning from Baidicheng in Fengjie, Chongqing and ending in Nanjin Pass in Yichang, they extend for a distance of 192 kilometers.
The Three Gorges Dam, is the world’s largest hydroelectric project using the rich water resources of the Three Gorges and the newest
attraction on the Yangtze cruise line. After the damming of the open diversion channel on Nov 6, 2002 during the second stage of the Three
Gorges Dam’s construction, the Yangtze River Cruise resumed from June 16th, 2003 with still magnificent gorge, impressive mountain
landscape and some new attractions.

Day. 01 Shanghai
Arrive Shanghai, the bustling commercial heart of China, known as "Paris of the East". Meet your guide upon
arrival and transfer to your deluxe hotel.
Day.02 Shanghai

Visit the Bund, at the west shore of the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the Jin Mao Tower can
be seen on the opposite side. The splendid row of early 20th century Europe buildings remains the
quintessential Shanghai sight. Visit fascinating Yuyuan Garden, a well-restored Suzhou-style garden, and
take a walk through the Old Town filled with antique markets and specialty stores. Then, visit to the marvelous
Shanghai Museum, a leading attraction of the city since it opened in 1994, containing some priceless
collections of paintings, porcelains and bronzes. Enjoy a fabulous Acrobatic Show in the evening. (B-L-D)

Day.03 Shanghai-wuhan

This morning is free to shop and explore. Fly to Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province. Visit Yellow Crane
, one of the most renowned towers south of the Yangtze River. Its cultural significance led to its being
made the symbol of Wuhan City. Boarding on the ship at about 17:00pm, depart your Yangtze River Cruise
around 19:00pm. (B-L-D)

Attention: No dinner on the ship, if you want to have dinner on ship, the fare is RMB 80 –per person.

Day.04 Yangtze River

Sail all day. Listen to the briefing of the Yangtze River, enjoy the beautiful scenery on the riversides. You also
can watch the performance of Tai Ji and other cultural programs, such as the Chinese cuisine, language,
music, history, art and so on. In the evening, enjoy the Captain’s Welcome Banquet and Singing & Dancing

Day.05 Yangtze River

At about 07:30am, the ship will navigate Gezhou Ship Lock. One and a half hours later, cruise through Xiling
which is the longest gorge among the three gorges. Around 11:00am-14:00pm, visit Three Gorges
, the world’s largest hydroelectric project and the newest attraction on the Yangtze River Cruise line.
Around 14:30pm-17:30pm, pass through the Five-Step Ship Locks of Three Gorges Dam. Enjoy the Dancing
and Movie entertainment in the evening. (B-L-D)

Day.06 Yangtze River

Arrive at Badong Port in the morning. Around 08:00am-12:00am, cruise through the Shennong Stream, a
tributary of the Yangtze River, with crystal clear steam flows swiftly from north to south, a sampan tour will allow
you to experience a speedy adventure along the Mianzhu Gorge. At about 12:30pm, enter Wu Gorge, which is
the most beautiful section of the Yangtze River, flanked by high peaks that are often capped by fog or clouds.
Around 16:00pm, the cruise will enter Qutang Gorge, 8km long, which is the last (most up stream) and
shortest of the gorges, quite spectacular. Enjoy the Dancing entertainment and Movie entertainment in the

Day.07 Yangtze River

Arrive at Wanxian Port around 08:00am. Wanxian City Tour around 08:30am -11:30am, you will pay a visit to
the Museum, Relocation Village and Market. Departure Wanxian at about 12:00 noon. Enjoy the Dancing
entertainment and Movie entertainment in the evening. (B-L-D)

Day.08 Yangtze River

Yangtze River Cruise will be ended at 10:00am in Chongqing. Upon disembarking, enjoy a brief city tour of
the most famous mountain city in China, visit the People’s Hall of Chongqing. Evening atop Loquat Hill to
enjoy evening view of the city. Stay overnight in Chongqing. (B-L-D)

Day.09 Chongqing-Xi'an
ChongqingTo Xi'an Take morning flight to Xi'an, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road.
City tour begins with a visit to the ancient City Wall which was built in 1370 A.D. Afternoon visit to Big Wild
Goose Pagoda
which was built in 652 A.D. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures which were
obtained from India by the eminent monk of Xuanzang. Attend a special Tang Dynasty Dinner and Show in
the evening.
Day.10 Xi'an
Xi'an Full day excursion to the unparalleled highlight Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses at the Tomb of Qin
Shi Huang, the first emperor in China. Added highlights are a visit to the Huaqing Hot Spring - a former resort
area especially for the emperors and the royal family and a visit to Banpo Village - the remains of a neolithic
village dating back 6,000 years. Primitive tools and household utensils are displayed in the Banpo Museum.
Time permits, visit factory where copies of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses are made. With the introduction of
the workman there, you may try to use clay and mould to make the copies of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
Day.11 Xi'an-Beijing
Xi'anToBeijing Take morning flight to Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China. Meet your guide
upon arrival and transfer to your deluxe hotel. Afternoon tour to the Temple of Heaven where the emperors
prayed for good harvest. Travel through the old neighborhoods of Beijing(Hutongs) via pedicabs in the

Beijing Morning tour to Tiananmen Square, located in the heart of the capital, and the Imperial Palace, known
as the Forbidden City - one of the greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture. Afternoon sightseeing
includes Summer Palace - a former summer resort area of the royal family. Welcome Peking Duck Banquet
in the evening.
Day.13 Beijing
Beijing Full day excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing feats of
human labour - the only man-made construction on earth visible from outer space. After lunch, a drive to the
Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased
emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
Day.14 Depart From
Depart Beijing Your exciting journey draws to a close as your board your international flight home.(B)
